Most of the technologies deployed across the continent to manage organizational change are built and supplied by international players for international markets.
The African market often comes as an after-thought, and as such, technology services fail to capture the full scope of change that is required to overcome local challenges, and to provide long term perspectives on future growth opportunities. This is especially important as governments and companies work to tackle the digital divide by incorporating technology in its internal and external organizational processes.
Our company and its people are committed to investing in market-creating innovations that create impact at scale across Sub-Saharan Africa, by adopting a very localized approach to building, designing, financing, and operating digital transformations.
We are engaged in building Africa’s intellectual property and digital capital by identifying and repurposing some of the world’s existing technologies and resources to the needs and realities of continent’s business and social contexts.
We believe that Africa’s development challenges can best be overcome by bringing together talent, purpose, diversity, and work ethic, and by combining the private sector resources with Governments’ ability to enable mass adoption and long-term inclusive change through well-guided policy action.
Our History
CLIKAFRIK Group was founded in 2013 to address the growing need to bridge the digital divide by bringing world-class technologies and know-how within the context of people, communities, businesses and governments that live and operate in Sub-Saharan Africa.
We realized that technology is ubiquitous, but that everything is a matter of context, culture, and purpose.
We believe that the future of the digital economy in Africa will come from designing and building technologies that incorporate the subtleties of the local context to convert growth constraints into growth opportunities.
The company started and grew as Mark, Johanna and Suby combined their respective expertise and knowledge of finance, development and public policy with design, marketing and technology.
Since then, the team has grown to incorporate members from diverse geographies of the world who have a set of skills and passion that make it possible to address a range of development challenges by enabling the digital transformation of governments and enterprises.

MARK
Founder
Mark is an entrepreneur and investor with over ten years of professional experience in investment banking, principal investments, and management across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. He is a graduate of the London School of Economics (LSE) and Harvard University.
Suby p s
Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Suby has extensive experience in software design, analysis, development, implementation and testing of mobile and web applications. He analyzes users requirements, modeling the system and ensuring the functionality.
Raja
Technical Architecture
Raja creates and manages customized e-commerce solutions and web applications in a planned approach to deliver reliable and valuable solutions. He works in a team to research and understand client requirement so as to deliver the best consistently.
Gokul Mani
Creative director
Gokul are good with creative leads at advertising and marketing companies, working with designers and marketers to create a vision for products sold. Creative directors plan advertising, oversee the creative process.
Midilaj M Muhammed
Quality Analyst
Midilaj develops testing scenarios and test cases to meet business requirements. He produces test plans and ensures they are followed. He prioritizes bug reports and prepares suggestion documents to improve the quality of the application.
Pascal
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Pascal has accumulated 13 years of experience in the telecom industry operating across technical and managerial roles. Over the years, he has acquired an expertise in marketing, sales and customer experience; with a focus on financial services (Mobile Money, Mobile Banking).
Ephrem
Compliance Manager
Ephrem is a former bank manager with 11 years of professional experience including 8 years in compliance and internal audit. He currently oversees regulatory matters.
Stella
Administrative Manager
Stella started her career in the sales Departement of an e-commerce company in Gabon. She has a bachelor’s degree in banking and insurance.
